Flux Payments Refund Policy

At Flux Payments, we aim to facilitate a seamless and transparent refund process for all transactions processed through our platform. This Refund Policy outlines how refunds are handled by Flux Payments and the responsibilities of both the merchants and the customers. Adherence to this policy is a requirement of all merchants using our services, as defined in the Flux Payments Merchant Agreement.

1. Overview of Refund Process

Flux Payments processes payments on behalf of merchants. We enable the technical infrastructure required for payments and refunds but are not responsible for specific merchant refund decisions.

Merchants are required to establish and clearly communicate their own refund policies to customers on their website. If a merchant does not maintain or display a refund policy, Flux Payments reserves the right to follow standard consumer protection laws and apply a default 30-day refund window for eligible transactions, at our discretion.

2. Merchant's Refund Policy

Each merchant is responsible for defining and adhering to their own refund policy. This policy should be clearly disclosed to customers at the time of purchase and should comply with relevant consumer protection laws.

Flux Payments will adhere to the merchant’s refund policy when processing refunds, provided that the merchant’s policy complies with applicable laws and payment network rules.

3. Flux Payments’ Role

As a payment processing platform, Flux Payments will allow the merchant to facilitate the refund process based on the terms of the merchant’s refund policy or the fallback policy described in Section 1.

Flux Payments is not liable for determining the validity of a refund request, as that decision is entirely at the discretion of the merchant. We are solely responsible for processing the refund in accordance with the merchant’s decision.

6. Customer Refund Requests

Customers should first reach out directly to the merchant to resolve any refund issues.

If the customer is unable to reach a resolution with the merchant, Flux Payments may assist in resolving the issue within the limits of applicable consumer protection laws and payment network guidelines.

7. Limitation of Liability

Flux Payments is not responsible for any losses or damages resulting from refund requests, chargebacks, or disputes. The merchant holds sole responsibility for managing and deciding on refund requests.

8. Modifications to the Refund Policy

Flux Payments reserves the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. All changes will be communicated to merchants, and the updated policy will be posted on our website. The updated policy will apply to all transactions processed after the effective date.

9. Governing Law

This policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
